DONATIONS IN-KIND

KARM

The Knox Area Rescue Ministries feed over 1000 people and house over 400 people per day, every day in the Knoxville area. One way KARM generates the funds to provide these services to the community is through their thrift stores in the area. Anyone who wishes to support KARM and provide meals and shelter to our neighbors can bring items to donate to any KARM store – just be sure to tell them you are with Team 4Moe! The employees at the store will assess a value for the items donated and every quarter, Team 4Moe will receive a KARM gift card for a percentage of those donations. We then provide those gift cards to organizations in our area, such as the local domestic violence shelter. For more information on KARM, visit https://karm.org/faqs/

Little Free Libraries

We have partnered with several Little Free Libraries, including Concord Little Free Library in Knoxville, Tennessee and Jefferson Park Little Free Library in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Many times these partnerships do not cost money but involve in-kind donations of new and gently used books to sustain the library. Little Free Libraries share books with their local communities, are open 24/7, and seek to instill and maintain a love of reading for all. The best way to support your local Little Free Library is to use it! For more information about what the program is and to find one near you, visit https://littlefreelibrary.org
